Welcome to Marumsco Hills!
I would like to welcome our new students and their families, as well as welcome back our returning students and families. My name is Karen Trivett, and I have been so fortunate to be a part of the Marumsco Hills family for 5 years! I look forward to this school year to see the familiar faces of students and their families from years past, as well as meet new students and their families.

As elementary school counselors, we are here to offer assistance to all students so that they can be successful in school. Through individual and small group counseling, we will work with students to overcome and obstacles that may be interfering with their ability to have a successful school experience. During classroom guidance lessons, we will work with the class as a whole and teach skills essential to success in school, as well as skills that will serve them in their adult lives. The PrinceWilliamCounty guidance curriculum is aligned with state and national (ASCA) school counseling standards and focus on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for successful academic achievement, career development, and personal social growth.

Department Announcements Upcoming EventsWelcome Back Eagles!
Kindergarten Orientation will be held September 1, 2011 at 7pm. Open House for grades 1-5 will be held September 2, 2011 from 10-11am. Orientation and Open House are perfect times to meet your child's teacher, drop off supplies, and walk around the school. We hope to see you there! Back to School Night for grades K-2 will be held September 22, 2011 from 7-8pm. Back to School Night for grades 3-5 will be held September 29, 2011 from 7-8pm. |
