School Counseling
Instructor: Ms. Trivett & Ms. Johnson

WELCOME BACK EAGLES!
A note from Ms. Trivett and Ms. Johnson

As  elementary school counselors, both Ms. Johnson and I are here to offer assistance to all students so that they can be successful in school.  Through individual and small group counseling, we will work with students to overcome any obstacles that may be interfering with their ability to have a successful school experience. During classroom guidance lessons, we will work with the class as a whole and teach skills essential to success in school, as well as skills that will serve them in their adult lives.   The Prince William County guidance curriculum is aligned with state and national (ASCA) school counseling standards and focus on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for successful academic achievement, career development, and personal social growth.

If you have any questions or concerns about your student, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office at 703-494-3252, or you may contact Ms. Trivett, at trivettkl@pwcs.edu and Ms. Johnson at johnsoms@pwcs.edu.  We look forward to a wonderfully productive school year with our Marumsco Hills family!

*If your student would like to visit with the counselors, Self-Referral forms are available outside of the counseling office, as well as in the classrooms.
